The issue of my research paper is femicide happening in Latin countries. The reason I chose this topic is that this is a major issue with evidence of brutal murders happening to women. So far with my research, I’ve learned that it was a larger number of women have been killed than projected on big platforms like Facebook, Netflix, and news channels. The women out marching and protesting risking their lives in hopes of all the women in the community feel safe. We need to spread awareness to all femicides happening.
I am inspired by your independent study topic. I do agree with you that there needs to be more awareness on the women out marching for their rights and getting mistreated and killed. There needs to be more awareness on the Latin countries and what is happening in them. I am interested to learn more about this topic through your project.
