My project is about domestic violence against women in the United States and other foreign countries. In order for my project to be successful, I need to first understand what domestic violence is, what the signs are, and why it happens. I especially need to research the type of ways to help the victims of domestic violence in case I ever am in a situation where a person or myself will need help. Domestic violence is something that happens all over the world and I think it is important to figure out why it is tolerated in so many countries. Gender and history play a big role because so many domestic violence cases are focused on one gender when really it can happen to both man and woman. As for history, domestic violence has been a talked about for ages and still no solution or progress for the problem. In order to successfully discuss this topic, I need to under the reasoning for each facet.
