For my topic for salary wage gap between male and female in sports, it poses a lot of information based upon the major difference in salary these athletes receive. In my research, i have found that women receive less of a salary than a male athlete does and this difference is huge in numbers. Ultimately, i have found the idea upon how women athletes gets a far less salary than males and that they get far less exposure in sports as well. Not many people see how women can do the same as male and that they should be recognized by their talents. I have read also that sponsors and endorsements would offer less amount of commission and money when offered to a women athlete compared to men and this type of systemic ideology is unfair to the hardworking women that deserves to be treated as equals in society.
This is a very interesting topic, Alvin, this is a huge issue that occurs within every aspects of work from Hollywood superstars to even janitors – men are simply always paid more for the same amount of work (or even less work) than women. It is infuriating and I am so glad that you have chosen to research and do your topic and such an important issue ! So excited to see what you come up with.

really great points! I recently saw a video of a player explaining how underfunded their gym was compared to the men’s basketball team and it made me so angry. There’s so little support and investment for women in sports, even when they perform the same or better than men.
Hopefully, more people can be aware of this, because before that video I would’ve never imagined what they were experiencing.
