This was an important source because it introduced an idea of what domestic violence is really like and actually gave a visual to the audience. I feel like most people respond better to an actual visual and physical source rather than just hearing or reading about it. A video is engaging even if the topic is a sensitive one.

Here, the different types of domestic violence are discussed. It is a big advantage to recognize the signs of domestic violence in case one needs help or unaware if they are in an abusive environement.

This source discusses the health implications one has when faced with abuse. It’s main focus is on women and children. It further explains what leads to domestic violence and why women usually stay in these types of situations. Most of the time they feel like they have no where else to go, that their abuser is their best option. In the article, it also discusses how to address domestic violence cases.

This source is crucial in finding ways to help and to know the laws on domestic violence. It provides ways to protect oneself in case a victim ever finds themself in a situation where they want a court order for protection.
