Topic: Gender Pay gaps 

Option: Syllabus project 

Throughout this project, to get better intake on this topic I would need to do research on gender pay gaps and how it affected the community of women. I would need scholarly articles and texts to justify the factual evidence. To find evidence of gender gaps, I can use videos, textbooks, journals and articles. Academically, I can lean toward history/social studies articles to go back into history to research. Throughout the syllabus, I will make sure to not only include readings and articles, I would include movies, short videos or even go on trips/virtual trips to give students a better interpretation of what is being taught. Gender pay gaps were noticed about centuries ago and it is something women still face in society. This topic correlates with women studies because the economical and social growth has adjusted to society and shaped itself in its own form. Throughout the “class” we will be gaining more intake on how women are constantly unnoticed in the work fields.
