I’ve chosen to base my final project off of the sexual violence, and street-harassment and discrimination towards Asian American women. Theres been too many beatings, killings and vandalism that have been swept under the bus. These tragedies happen almost everyday and its unacceptable. I’m an Asian American woman myself, and I’ve experienced being called multiple hurtful racial slurs, been threatened to be pepper sprayed because I “brought COVID-19 here”, and thats why I’ve chosen this topic.
It’s always heartbreaking hearing of new attacks towards asian americans on the news. Especially since Covid started the rising rate of violence towards asians american in general is terrible. We as humans just keep on being disappointments. It’s a shame that the world we live in is run by hatred.

I agree with you, many people have been judging Asian Americans culture. Many have been discriminatory towards them due to them believing that ” covid started from asians”, which is terrible. We should learn how to spread positivity around the world, because it is getting worse day by day.
