Two different works of Black Feminist that we have covered in class would be Kimberlie Crenshaw and lately someone who was very inspiring to me who is Amanda Gorman. Amanda Gorman is 23 year old girl who was able to give a wonderful speech that blew people away even through a tv screen. Kimberlie Crenshaw is the person who coined the term intersectionality and was able to shed light as to how people can take advantage of the position that they have in society by not addressing the problems such as privilege. The goals of Black feminism is to address problems that aren’t being talked about enough in the world. The amount of struggled that Black women face are uncounted as compared to what women might face each day.
