Based upon Audre Lorde’s essay, The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House, do you agree or disagree with that statement? Do you think it can or should be modified in any way? If so, how?

I agree with Audre Lorde’s essay. I do believe all women are different in unique ways like culture, physical traits, and much more but we should not be treated differently depending on our sexuality or skin color. I really enjoyed the quote where she states “ As women, we have been taught to either ignore our differences or to view them as causes for separation and suspicion rather than as forces for change.” I think she brings up a really good point. Within the feminist community too, white feminists may leave out women of color like in the Seneca Falls Convention or some feminists might advocate for one specific group only. Yes, we’re different, but we should not completely separate ours because one may believe their struggle is more important than another.
